The Primer is an open project. The conversation engine works; making it a genuinely effective learning companion for real children needs people who know children, learning, and hardware better than code.

Educators & researchers
Evaluate the pedagogy. Challenge the Socratic implementation, the comprehension probes, the engagement model. Help design pilots and studies with real learners — the project needs evidence, not just conviction.
Funders & partners
Support independent, privacy-first educational technology: grants, study funding, hardware for testing, or partnership on a dedicated child-friendly device. The entire stack is open — what you fund stays public.
Native speakers
The Primer is multilingual by architecture. Hindi is in preview awaiting native-speaker review, and every new language is data, not development. Help bring the Primer to children in your language.
Developers
Rust, on-device inference, speech pipelines, knowledge curation — the codebase is AGPL and the issues are public. Start at the GitHub repository.
